Tracy MacGrady goes to Darfur. I’d never heard of this documentary until today. It’s an interesting piece. MacGrady’s personal narrative and naivete highlight the problems in Darfur in a unique and helpful way.
A posthumous short story by David Foster Wallace appeared in this week’s New Yorker. The story is an exploration of the religious impulse told through a first-person reminiscence. Simply great stuff.
